Another "Mini" Self Defense Product

Just in case The Runt Stun Gun is not your cup of tea, there is another mini stun gun on the market today. Again, please be sure to check your local stun gun laws here before you purchase anything. And, these lists may not be up to date, these are just the ones we are aware of as of now. Ultimately it is up to you to contact your local jurisdiction.

The Talon Mini is only 4 inches tall, however it possesses 80,000 volts, and although is not as powerful as The Runt, it can still get the job done. It only uses one battery which can be purchased separately and a holster which can be purchased separately as well. You can not quite conceal it in your hand as easy as The Runt can however. But, there is another one on the market that fits in your palm and looks like a blackberry, and that is called The Hot Shot Stun Gun. More on that to come.

For anybody not in the "know how" of the workings of stun guns, I've posted a little bit of information to help you with future stun gun postings:

Stun guns use high voltage and low amperage to temporarily disable an attacker for several minutes. The stun gun does not rely on pain for results. The energy stored in the gun is dumped into the attacker’s muscles causing them to do a great deal of work rapidly. This rapid work cycle instantly depletes the attacker’s blood sugar by converting it to lactic acid. In short, he is unable to produce energy for his muscles, and his body is unable to function properly. The stun gun also interrupts the tiny neurological impulses that control and direct voluntary muscle movement. When the attacker’s neuromuscular system is overwhelmed and controlled by the stun gun he loses his balance. Should the attacker be touching you, the current will NOT pass to your body!
