Self Defense During An Animal Attack

Ok, so I am sure this has not happened to the majority of people, but I am sure you have thought about it before. What do I do in case of a dog attack? Well, first of all, I know it's hard, try not to panic. Dogs sense fear. I know, I know, the first thing I would do would probably be to make in my pants. However, you can be prepared for such an attack with a canine repellent. This first kind that I would recommend is made by Mace, and it is the Mace Canine Repellent. It is an EPA approved Maceā„¢ Muzzle that provides safe, effective and humane protection against canine attack. Ideal protection for walkers, joggers, cyclists or delivery people. For the more humane individuals out there that even though they are being attacked by a dog do not want to be so cruel in their fighting back, I recommend the Dog Chaser Animal Electronic Repellent. Using the latest ultrasonic technology, the Dog Chaser produces a discomforting but not harmful, high frequency sound, audible to dogs but not to humans. Help stop the approach of unwanted dogs at up to 15 feet. Also, a useful aid in training dogs.

Finally, a simple thing to remember is to cover your ears, play dead, and most likely a dog is going to get bored and leave you alone.

till next time,

Pepper spray and Mace brand products can be extremely effective in protecting yourself from a dog or vicious animal attack. We had one customer who was able to scare away a loose pit bull who confronted him while walking his own dog.

One thing for consumers to note is that dog pepper spray or bear pepper spray is no different than the pepper sprays to protect yourself against human attacks. The exact same ingredients are used and active ingredient strength is the virtually the same.

You can check out some of the self defense product options here: http://www.pepper-spray-store.com

Yeah, the Mace works great to stop the dogs. Another good tool to use against a dog is just a cheap stun gun. Dry fire it, and the crackle will drive most dogs away. They think it's evil and hit the trail!

Pepper Sprays work great against dogs . It's great because you can spray the dog at a distance before it can get to you. Also, stun guns are effective too, sometimes just hearing the sound makes a dog think twice about approaching you. Visit us online for great pepper sprays, stun guns and more. Free Shipping

Mace Muzzle dog spray is legal in the few states that have restricted or banned pepper spray sales. Animal repellent is legal in all states I believe. If it will stop a dog , what else might it stop!

I think that self defense has become more and more of an important issue as crime gets worse. There are too many muggings and other attacks. I don't want to use a regular gun so MACE pepper spray and also stun guns are a good choice if you have good training to be safe. I found good information on www.diyselfdefense.com.

Pepper spray varies in strength. Be sure to purchase a name brand like Mace. Some store pepper spray is a weak 2 percent. Check local laws !

One thing that should always be mentioned is that pepper spray is great, if you know how to use it.

Just like any other weapon, it does take a little practice in order to be truly comfortable with it.

I definitely agree that one should practice with the Dog Pepper Spray before using it just to become comfortable knowing what to expect and how far it will spray. Just don't be afraid to use it if you truly need it.

Pepper spray and Mace are a great alternative to hand guns. I had a customer who was an avid gun user. She wanted another option and was looking for non-lethal self defense products.
She purchased some key-chain pepper spray and actually used it on some guy who tried to steal her car.

Good tips for defending against a dog! I've never had to face that situation myself, and I hope I never do.
